Teaching Science

Harn-Asa (2002: 5) states that science as a subject whose nature and content are more conductive to the new pedagogy.

The Thai government identified quality improvements in teaching science, mathematics, and English as priorities. Science and mathematics skills are basic necessities to advance in high-technology and information-based industries (Atagi, 2002: 24).

However, the quality of teaching in these subjects (science and mathematics) is inadequate (Atagi, 2002: 24).
